The scenic route to IA.
How It Started
I have a Master's in Architecture. Worked as an architectural graduate. Then discovered graphic design and pivoted hard.
Print design. Graphic design. Motion design. Illustrations. Digital design. UI. Interaction design. Then UX and IA.
From the outside? Looked scattered. From the inside? I was learning how to organize information in every medium that exists.
What I Actually Learned
Print design: sequencing layers so art printed right.
Graphic design: aligning message and visuals so people got it.
Motion design: structuring information over time.
Illustrations: guiding attention through composition.
Digital and UI: organising interface elements and hierarchy.
Interaction design: simplifying messaging through behaviour, hover to reveal, motion as communication, feedback without words.
Every discipline, same question: How do I make this clear?
The Pattern
I wasn't jumping around. I was learning the same skill in different languages: organising information.
Here's what that means for you: I can see structural problems faster because I've organized information in every context. Print sequences, visual hierarchies, time-based narratives, interface systems, behavioral flows. When something's broken, I know what to look for.
What I Do Now
I'm a UX Architect and IA Specialist. I organize complexity. I build structure. I make things make sense.
